Zucchini is considered a dietary product - it has a low calorie content, contains a lot of potassium, iron, B vitamins, Vitamin C and other substances useful to the body. It is also interesting in that the fruits (pumpkins) are used as food by young, not ripened (greenery). So, you do not have to wait for the harvest to ripen, and from the end of spring (when growing through seedlings) until autumn, you can have fresh vegetables on the menu. On their beds it is better to grow varieties and hybrids of zucchini, resistant to disease and weather changes. This eliminates undesirable chemical treatments and allows you to get a crop in any weather. It is about such varieties and hybrids of zucchini that will be discussed in this article.

10 varieties and hybrids of squash, which are not afraid of diseases and the vagaries of the weather

1. Zucchini "Yellow"

Domestic zucchini zucchini variety is adapted to various weather changes, so it grows normally in many regions with a short warm period. Early ripening. From germination to the first harvest of Zelentsy - 40 days. In the future, the harvest is carried out 1-2 times a week.

This zucchini is characterized by a compact bush literally dotted with bright yellow fruits at the base. The flesh is light yellow, but may be creamy. Fruits persist for more than a month.

In other years, instead of this variety of zucchini, I use the Zolotinka or Zolotoy Klyuchik varieties (they are also yellow-fruited). They form 15-18 fruits on a bush. The fruit mass is 400-500 g. The pulp is straw-yellow with a pleasant taste. The Zolotinka has flesh Sweet, suitable for baby food.

2. Zucchini "Early Emerald"

The zucchini variety forms a dark green pumpkin. The bush is compact, the fruits are elongated cylindrical, medium in size. Over the entire length, the diameter of the fetus is approximately the same. The fruits are large, the flesh is dense, which affects the total weight of the pumpkin, reaching 700-1200 g.

Zucchini has a delicate pleasant taste. The variety is characterized by a high content of manganese. The first crop of zucchini is given in 45 days from the moment of emergence of shoots, and 4-5 fruits are formed immediately. Fruits must be removed in a timely manner. This contributes to the tying and growth of new Zelentsy.

3. Zucchini "Tsukesh"

Many of my friends like the Tsukesh grade. It belongs to the varieties of early varieties of zucchini zucchini with long-term yield. Recommended for cold regions of Russia. The term for technically mature fruits ranges from 40-51 days.

Bush-shaped plants with large leaves. The variety is interesting in that the fruits have a very elongated cylindrical shape (up to 30-40 cm), the skin is dark green in color, for which they are assigned to the zucchini group. The mass of fruits of zucchini from 600 to 900 g. From the bush you can get up to 12 kg of fruits.

The pulp of zucchini is juicy, very tasty. According to reviews, the fruits can be stored for a long time, without compromising on taste. They tolerate long-distance transportation.

4. Zucchini "Cavili F1"

Parthenocarpic zucchini culture, the formation of the fruit of which takes place without pollination. Squash squash in such hybrids and varieties does not have seeds or they are very small, not formed, which is especially important in the manufacture of caviar, canning and other blanks.

In the series of parthenocarpic zucchini of early maturity, the Cavili F1 hybrid is among the best. The period from full germination to harvest is 40-42 days. This is a true parthenocarpic, ultra-precocious, long-bearing hybrid. The bushes are large but compact. He does not need pollination, so he bears fruit both in weather with low and high temperatures. Resistant to most diseases, including powdery mildew.

The hybrid is characterized by abundant and prolonged formation of fruits, up to autumn frosts. Harvest I start to shoot with a length of pumpkins from 16 cm and a weight of at least 300 g. From one bush, as a rule, I get 8-12 kg of light green fruits. The flesh of the vegetable marrow is juicy and tender, whitish in color, with a pleasant taste, and when the fruits are overgrown, it does not coarse.

Fruits without changing quality indicators are stored for a long time and well tolerate transportation over long distances.

5. Zucchini "Iskander F1"

Unique Dutch zucchini hybrid. The bush is large, squat. It is characterized by natural resistance to most diseases and the ability to form early crops. The first fruits can be removed 36-40 days after germination in the open ground.

The fruits of zucchini are light green in color, sometimes in a white speck, elongated, with a dense pulp, which definitely affects the mass of fruits (500-800 g) with a length of 18-22 cm. The main positive quality is a high yield, reaching optimum weather conditions years 16-20 kg from the bush.

The flesh is pale green to light cream in color. Does not become rude with the age of the fetus. But since the fruits of zucchini are thin-bodied, their shelf life is limited. It should be noted that when overgrown, the fruits do not lose their taste. Unpretentious to weather conditions. Hybrid "Iskander F1" withstands a short minus temperature. Even in cold summers, the hybrid forms a good crop.

6. Zucchini "Sangrum F1"

An early ripe hybrid of a vegetable marrow "Sangrum F1" is removed in Holland. Forms a compact bush. The first fruits appear 38-40 days after emergence. Fruits of a peculiar color - light green with white specks, cylindrical in shape. The flesh is medium juicy, tender, the skin is thin. The fruit mass does not exceed 200-400 g.

From one bush, the crop is not more than 5 kg, but the ripening of fruits together will quickly free up the area of the bed for the subsequent crop. The hybrid is characterized by increased endurance to adverse weather conditions. According to its properties and quality of fruits, it is ideal for preparing squash caviar and other winter preparations.

The hybrid is resistant to a complex of basic diseases (mold, root rot, yellow zucchini mosaic, etc.).

8. Zucchini "Mushroom 37"

I like the sort of zucchini "Gribovsky 37" for "patience." Very old variety. It is well adapted to varying weather conditions, resistant to fungal (peronosporiosis, all types of rot) and bacterial infections (bacteriosis). It grows well and develops at moderate temperatures.

Usually I plant it outside the garden, along the fence. The stalks of the vegetable marrow are covered with thorns, which is a significant obstacle for uninvited guests.

"Gribovsky 37" refers to mid-season varieties that form a crop in the second half of summer. The first eating of fruits is in 50-55 days from the appearance of seedlings. I start cleaning when the mass of greens is 250-300 g.

The fruit of the squash is elongated-cylindrical, at the base - slightly ribbed. The skin is thin, white in color with greenish stripes. The pulp is friable, but juicy, white, less often yellowish. The yield is sufficient - within 7-10 kg from the bush.

9. Zucchini "Lenutsa F1"

The southern hybrid of zucchini, but has proven itself well in different regions of Russia, where it is now gaining more and more popularity and distribution.

The zucchini bush is medium, compact. The variety is early. The first meal I spend in 35-38 days. The fruit mass is from 250-600 g. The fruits resemble a narrow cylinder, the skin is light green, very thin, the pulp is dense, juicy, with a sweet aftertaste (sugar content up to 3%). Taste is high.

It is recommended for dietary dishes after complex operations on the gastrointestinal tract, in baby food, in cooking for various second courses and winter preparations. The small pickled fruits of “Lenuza” are tastier than pickled cucumbers.

Variety of zucchini is famous for resistance to bacteriosis and peronosporiosis.

10. Zucchini "Roller"

Last year, for the first time, I tried to cultivate the recommended, as the most hardy and cold-resistant for the northern regions, grade of zucchini "Rolik" in the south. I do not have a greenhouse, I tried to get an early harvest without it.

Like all previous varieties and hybrids of zucchini, she grew 30 day old seedlings on the kitchen windowsill and planted in open ground in the first half of April. Until April 20-25, we have significant drops in positive temperatures, so I covered the young plants a couple of times with spanbond at night and took off the shelter in the morning at 8-9.

In May, the weather is already hot, often without rain. The variety has formed a very compact, even small bushes, low-leaf. In the second half of May I received the first fruits.

The shape of the squash is cylindrical, whitish-green in color, weighing 200-250 g. The flesh is whitish, the taste is pleasant. By the end of July, my 2 bushes had dried out. The total yield was 4.5 and 5.0 kg. But then it was the earliest harvest in atypical conditions for the variety. I believe that the experiment was a success.
